As a Berlin-based photographer deeply immersed in the city's dynamic arts scene, I recently had the opportunity to visit Domhotel Bed & Breakfast for a brief stay. Nestled near the Schlei waterfront, this quaint establishment boasts a convenient location within walking distance of Schloss Gottorf and the old town.During my time at Domhotel, I found the premises to be well-maintained and meticulously clean, reflecting a high standard of housekeeping. My single room on the top floor was adequately spacious, featuring a comfortable day-bed that exceeded the typical single bed size – a noteworthy touch in terms of value. The presence of a sink in the room was a practical addition, although a plug for washing could have enhanced the overall guest experience.While the shower room adjacent to my accommodation was slightly noisy, adherence to a strict curfew for shower usage ensured a peaceful night's rest. The complimentary Wi-Fi access and convenient free parking behind the hotel were definite perks that added value to my stay.Domhotel Bed & Breakfast offers a decent balance between affordability and amenities, making it a viable option for budget-conscious travelers seeking a comfortable base in close proximity to key attractions.
